I attended the County College of Morris in New Jersey before starting my military career in the Air Force. I was on active duty for 23 years. During my service I taught numerous art classes for the dependents of active-duty members and designed squadron patches. My artwork was also published in the base newspaper. After I retired from the Air Force, I furthered my education by attending the Brevard Community College, earning a degree in Engineering Graphic Design which got me employment at the Brevard Art Museum. I worked at the museum for 22 years as the Registrar, Collection Manager, and Exhibitions Manager. My duties included cataloging art, shipping and receiving art,
and installing, lighting and labeling art exhibitions. While at the museum I also taught many drawing classes at the museum’s Renee Foosaner Education Center. I’ve also done artwork for the Florida Today local newspaper and numerous murals for local Elementary and Junior High schools. My art training also includes numerous on-line computer art classes and tutorials, and in my spare time I enjoy oil paintings, drawings, computer art, wood working, and metal working.
